Like you need convincing, right?
I mean come on, let’s start with location. Could this be any more ideal?

Can you see the faint outline of the shipwreck?
The US Liberty shipwreck lies off the east coast of Bali, snug in the Tulamben area. An easy shore dive, its a great wreck for novice and advanced divers a like, beginning at 6m and finishing at 30m. Only 125m long, you can breeze around the wreck in one dive, swimming around or over the wreck. If you want to try your hand at wreck diving, it’s super easy, airy and covered in beautiful reef. No previous experience necessary.

Our first glimpse of the shipwreck!

Exploring the coral growing on the wreck

Love seeing if I can recognise the parts of the ship

Sweet Lips a plenty!

So many bits to explore!

Beautiful coral

I’m totally ok with this dive!
Little known fact, there are TWO shipwrecks in this area, the other being 10 mins car ride up the road. The Kubu site also offers an interesting shipwreck, complete with car!

A Titanic moment…

You can’t park there!

Exploring above and below deck

As always in Bali, turtles galore
The water in Tulamben is warm unlike alot of Bali waters, sitting at a toasty 28 degrees celsius. You’ll find Tulamben on the north-east coast of Bali, about 3 hours from Denpasar airport.
Matt and I travelled to Tulamben on a special trip with our favourite people from Blue Corner Dive and stayed at Puri Madha Dive Resort. We completed 3 day dives and 1 night dive on US Liberty and 1 day dive at the Kubu site. The night dive is epic, I highly recommend it.
