Perth is not exactly the first place you think of when you imagine divine Autumn days, but if you head up into Perth Hills to Raeburn Orchards, that is exactly what you’ll find.
Raeburn Orchards hold an annual Persimmon festival where you can walk through the orchard and bask in the glory of the persimmon trees, which are burning red and orange.
Take a picnic and make a day of it, like we did, or enjoy the festivities that Raeburn puts on: music, food trucks and kids activities.
Matt and I took a bottle of champagne and a cheese platter to celebrate our decision to travel the world. No better place to celebrate.
Where is your favourite place to watch the leaves change to Autumn colours?
