Scuba Diving in Moalboal and the Famous Sardine Run

In case you haven’t noticed Matt and I like scuba diving. So much so, we spent a lot of time in Nusa Lembongan underwater and Matt got his Dive Master certification.

Now that we’ve moved on from Indonesia, there’s still plenty of the underwater world to explore, so we decided to tick another new country off our list and hit up Philippines! Our first stop: Moalboal!

We had heard of their sardine run which was so accessible, you could walk right in from the beach and freedive it. So Matt and I did. Amazing. Check out this short video here!

Snorkeling is fun, but of course, we wanted to go deeper for longer! We booked in some dives for sites along the coast, around Pescador Island and of course, the sardine run.

We saw so many new things like frogfish and pygmy seahorses, and a lot of turtles and moray eels! It was amazing, even if the visibility wasn’t always crash hot. Check out my very first Adobe Premiere Pro video of our time there, and let me know what you think!
